Turnover Cleaning Specialist

Position Pays:

  • $15/hr. - $26/hr. - depending on experience
  • Training Pay Period - $15 an hour minimum paid at all times

Job Description:

  • Professionally clean, sanitize and maintain vacation rental properties in the Host Boise network
  • Create a welcoming presentation & surroundings for our guests and homeowners
  • Discover, determine, report and photograph any damage to rental homes
  • Provide touch-up cleaning service as requested or necessary
  • Communicate on a regular basis with the Host Boise Management Team and team members
  • Be available and willing to assist fellow staff members and management team when necessary
  • Assist and help cover cleanings with and for supervisors and co-workers when needed
  • Work within a team setting to complete cleanings within strict time frames
  • Collection and removal of trash and debris
  • Attend all mandatory individual and/or team meetings and trainings
  • Restocking of consumable amenity items such as soaps and paper products
  • Maintain hot tubs and spas as needed; no experience necessary - we offer on-site training
  • Other responsibilities as assigned - because every day looks different

Experience:

  • Entry Level - Full-Training is provided to all hires.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Superb communication skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Possess a reasonable comfort level with computers and smart devices
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with deadlines and under strict time constraints
  • Able to drive in adverse weather conditions to preform duties as required

Candidate Must Have:

  • Provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
  •  Able to communicate, be responsive and reliable at all times
  • Have and maintain access to the internet and the ability to check your schedule on a daily basis
  • Capable to move, sit, stand, or walk for an extended period of time
  •  Have the ability to carry, lift, push, pull, bend, squat, stoop, twist, kneel and place objects weighing less or equal to 25 lbs. without assistance
  • Able to climb stairs, bend over from the waist, get down on knees and reach overhead shelves
  • Must have reliable personal transportation
  • Must own and maintain a smartphone and personal email address
  • Have and keep a flexible schedule
  • Available to work most weekends

Expectations:

  • Able to pass a criminal background check
  • Pass our general cleaning exam
  • Observe and follow all company policies and procedures
  • Meet and maintain required standards of Host Boise
  • Successfully complete our cleaning training process
  • Keep a clean driving record
  • Able to work on some weekends
  • Have and maintain a positive & motivated attitude
  • Availability to work mornings and evenings as needed
